Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China (Project Implementer)

Upholding the vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, the Program advocates and practices the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, and the Global Civilization Initiative, and promotes the building of an Innovation Silk Road under the Belt and Road Initiative. Following the principles of selecting the best candidates, people-centeredness, openness and inclusiveness, and equality with mutual learning, the Program provides funding support for eligible outstanding young international scientists, scholars, and researchers (hereinafter referred to as “Talented Young Scientist”) to come to China for work and exchange. The Program aims to enhance the scientific research capacity and innovation capacity of partner countries, promote science/technology and humanities exchanges between China and countries around the world, provide a high-quality platform for young scientists to learn from each other, build long-term and stable S&T cooperative partnerships with relevant countries, and pool consensus and strength to foster people-to-people connectivity.
